My wife and I have just returned from a 2 night stay at this Great Hotel. From being collected from the ferry by the hotels minibus to a pleasant welcome at reception from Gina we really enjoyed our stay. Rooms have everything you need and are kept spotlessly clean.
The food served at breakfast and evening meals is very good. Staff in the Hotel are very nice and helpful.
Looking forward to visiting again in the future. David and Ann Miller.
Our second visit to the Aran Islands Hotel and again it did not disappoint. We stayed in a seaside view room with balcony this time. Spacious, clean, bed very comfortable and the view amazing. Staff are so friendly and professional. Food is just wonderful from breakfast through to evening meals. I would highly recommend a visit to hotel or chalets as stayed in both. Great location also. Definitely will return as feels like home on every visit 😀
Location was really convenient. They also have a free shuttle from and to the pier. The Hotel also contains a restaurant which is also have good food. But the Chalet could be a little bigger.
A mixed bag.
Staff is very welcoming, not much to say here.
Location is great too, 5-10min from all the major attractions, and right in front of a beautiful beach.
What holds this place back is the rooms and their design/structure. First of all, it's really hard to have any sort of privacy because of the way the windows are set up. At night, it can be very noisy because other guests stay 10m away from your room and the light from outside comes directly onto the bed, so you need to close every orifice, but then the insulation makes it waaay too hot. WiFi is awful and extremely frustrating, since it cuts off every other minute. The TV is set up at a very awkward angle. There is no toilet brush. The taps are really annoying and make using the sink a frustrating experience.
So yeah, I don't know who designed the rooms but they put very little thought into it.
It's a bit of a shame because the ingredients are all here to make something great. At this price and in this state, it's not a 3-star hotel.
Absolutely fabulous hotel. Friendly staff who were eager to help. Stunning views from the hotel too. All round a great experience & will be back in the future for sure 👌
We stayed in the hotel for 3 nights coming to the island for a sailing race WIORA.
The staff were so friendly and helpful. Especially Gina on the front desk. The food was excellent, and nothing was any trouble. There was a shuttle service available whenever we required it. I highly recommend a stay.
my very first time on the island and it won't be my last , its has so much to offer , stunning beach clear blue water , so much to see fantastic views of the cliffs all you need to do is get on your by bycle and go , or if you like walking you can go through the green ways and the people are so friendly and welcoming
Lovely hotel, very clean and friendly. The staff are very helpful and very professional. Would recommend a stay here anytime. Irish hospitality at its best. 👍
